Exceptional Learning Experiences

At LGS JTI Senior, learning extends far beyond the classroom. We believe that meaningful education is built on curiosity, character, and real-world engagement, not just examination success. Our students are encouraged to explore their interests, challenge themselves, and grow into confident, capable young adults.
Beyond academics, we offer a vibrant co-curricular programme designed to cultivate leadership, teamwork, and resilience. Students participate in internships, community initiatives, service projects, clubs, sports, the arts, and student-led societies, gaining practical experience and discovering their strengths. Through Creativity, Activity, and Service (CAS), learners engage directly with their communities, developing empathy and a strong sense of social responsibility.

    World Class Teachers

At LGS JTI Senior, the quality of our teaching lies at the heart of every student’s success. Our faculty are experienced, knowledgeable, and deeply committed educators who combine subject expertise with a genuine understanding of how young people learn best. Many bring years of classroom practice, examination experience, and mentorship, allowing them to guide students with both confidence and care.
For our Diploma Programme, all teachers are trained and certified by the International Baccalaureate, equipping them with specialised expertise in IB pedagogy, assessment standards, and inquiry-based learning. This ensures that students receive authentic, high-quality instruction aligned with international benchmarks.

    Academic excellence

At LGS JTI Senior, our strength lies in a highly personalised approach to learning that nurtures each student’s potential, builds confidence, and encourages meaningful achievement.  For boys, we offer the Cambridge Assessment International Education IGCSE programme, available in both two-year and three-year tracks to accommodate different learning needs and developmental timelines. This flexibility allows students to build strong academic foundations at a pace that suits them best.
Following IGCSE, we offer a co-educational International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme (IBDP) for both boys and girls. The IB Diploma, widely regarded as equivalent to A Levels, provides a balanced and rigorous curriculum that develops subject depth alongside critical thinking, research skills, and global awareness.
Together, these internationally respected programmes ensure that our students benefit from a globally recognised education, keeping opportunities open both within Pakistan and abroad. Whether pursuing higher education locally or overseas, our graduates are well prepared to succeed in diverse academic and professional environments.

    Our Academic Pathways

We offer multiple pathways to match different strengths, timelines, and future goals.

    IGCSE Programme (All Boys)

Our IGCSE programme provides a strong academic foundation and prepares students for the IB Diploma Programme or A Levels.

    Two IGCSE tracks are available:

    • Three-Year Track – the traditional track beginning earlier to allow deeper foundation building
    • Two-Year Track – the accelerated IGCSE pathway

Placement into either track is determined through academic readiness and prior preparation.

    IGCSE Admission Procedure:

Internal LGS applicants and external students follow separate admissions processes:

    • Internal students opting for the three year IGCSE track are exempt from all admission tests and their selection is determined by their academic and co-curricular achievements in Class 8
    • Internal students opting for the two year IGCSE track are required to sit a Science and Mathematics admission tests.
    • External students, applying from outside LGS Johar Town, sit for English and Mathematics admission tests if they are opting for the three year track, and an English, Mathematics and Science test if they are opting for the two-year track.

These assessments help us understand how best to support each student’s success in the programme.

    IB Diploma Programme (Co-educational)

Our IB Diploma Programme develops critical thinkers, independent learners, and globally
    minded young adults.

Students completing IGCSEs at JTI Senior transition smoothly into the Diploma Programme, supported by strong academic guidance and careful subject selection.

    Admissions requirements

Admissions to the IB Diploma Programme focus on academic readiness, subject suitability, and a student’s commitment to the demands of the programme.

    • No general admission test for most applicants
    • Students applying for Mathematics: Analysis & Approaches (AA) may be asked to complete a Mathematics proficiency assessment to confirm subject readiness
    • Academic transcripts, subject grades, and teacher recommendations are reviewed
    • A meeting with the IB DP Coordinator and Head of School helps align subject choices with goals and interests

This process ensures students feel confident and well-prepared for the academic challenge of the Diploma Programme.

    Internal & External Admissions

We welcome both current LGS students and students from other schools.

    • Internal applicants benefit from continuity and a smooth transition between programmes
    • External applicants are supported through assessments, placement guidance, and orientation to ensure a strong start

Seat availability varies each year, and we encourage families to register early.
